Using Ai

At Merchdrop, we’re proudly pro-artist and we prioritise work made by real people. We don’t use AI to generate images or run customer service, and we don’t accept AI-generated artwork for printing. In many cases it may not be eligible for copyright protection (and that can make ownership and usage rights unclear) so it isn’t something we can produce through our service. We can’t verify the origin of every file and AI can be convincing, so some may slip through, but if artwork appears obviously AI-generated or raises clear rights concerns, we may cancel the order. The only AI you may encounter is indirectly through third-party platform features (like analytics or automated stats from our website provider) we don’t actively use AI in our day to day business practices.
